My event is the Tenerife disaster of March 27, 1977. It was the deadliest air accident. It will make 583 victims. With my black and white videos I want to pay a symbolic and poetic tribute via the route offered by browsing in my website. At 5:06:09:06 a.m., two Boeing 747s, one from KLM and the other from Pan Am, collided on the runway at Los Rodeos Airport, located on the Canary Island of Tenerife. As the airport is plunged into fog, the KLM Boeing is lined up at the threshold, ready to take off. In parallel, the Pan Am Boeing 747 goes up the runway, the first part of the taxiway being blocked. He must, according to the instructions of the control tower, take one of the ramps to return to the free part of the taxiway and finally taxi to the threshold of the runway, taking his place behind the KLM and waiting for his turn to take off. The KLM Boeing then suddenly takes off, while the Pan Am Boeing is still going up the runway, and will hit it on its cross at nearly 300 km / h.
